Catch the morning sunrise and a sweaty sauna session! And, don’t worry… This one isn’t as early as last time. Join us for an unforgettable morning combining an invigorating sunrise hike with a rejuvenating wellness experience. We'll summit Prairie View Trail in time to witness the sunrise, then head back to Tality East Village for a 2-hour sauna and cold plunge session. Agenda for the morning: 📆 Date/Time: October 3rd, meet at Tality at 4:30 AM and event goes until 12:00pm 📍 Meet: Tality Wellness East Village (150 - 606 Confluence Way SE, Calgary AB) at 4:30 AM 🚗 Transport: Tality team will lead carpooling and seating assignments, then we’ll set off to the trailhead and arrive around 5:30/45am.
🏔️ Hike: Group hike @ Mt. Yamnuska Ravens, 7.8km out and back, moderate to hard difficulty, 600m elevation gain, different paces led by Josh Pacheco and Tality team. 🌄 Sunrise: Enjoy the sunrise and take photos. Pics or it didn’t happen right?!
🧖 Sauna: Meet back at Tality 10:15/30am for a 2-hour social sauna session to recover, recharge, and chill out to a DJ setting the morning vibes
💰 Cost: $50 (covers the cost of driving & sauna/cold plunge session) - 10 early bird spots available at $40. How to Prepare: * Wake up: 3:30–4:00 AM to allow time to get ready * Arrive early: Be at Tality 10 minutes before 4:00 AM to secure your carpool spot and confirm your seat (we’ll also have the coffee shop beside us open for a pre-hike coffee stop). * Dress warmly: It will be COLD and at high elevation; bring layers you can shed as you warm up hiking. Bring a lot of layers, we are now stepping into Fall. Transportation: * Carpool encouraged: We're organizing carpools to minimize vehicles heading to the trailhead * Self-drive option: You're welcome to drive yourself and a friend—just let us know so we can plan accordingly IMPORTANT: Make sure to be exactly on time; we'll depart Tality promptly at 4:30 AM
